battles over the phone: you set the tasks, your child completes them, and their
apps unlock for the time you allow.

Install this app on your child's Android phone
Create your parent account at screenmindr.com — on your own phone or computer, no second app needed
Enter the pairing code to connect both devices. Setup takes just a few minutes.

KEY FEATURES

App blocking you control
Choose which games and social apps on your child's device need to be earned.
Screenmindr scans the list of installed apps so you can pick exactly what to lock — this is the core of how the app works. Locked apps show a friendly
reminder to complete tasks, never a scary error.

Tasks that unlock apps
Create tasks: reading, tidying up, homework, helping out. Your child completes
them and submits proof with a photo, quiz, or timer.

You approve, apps unlock
Review your child's submission and approve with one tap from the web dashboard.
Apps unlock with a countdown timer, then lock again automatically when time
runs out.

Fair warning before time's up
Your child gets a 5-minute heads-up before apps lock again. No abrupt cutoffs.

Push notifications
Get notified the moment your child submits a task for review.

Private by design
We never read your child's messages or monitor their content. The list of
installed apps is used only to let you choose what to lock — never sold or shared. No ads, ever.

family, not surveillance of your child.

HOW ACCESSIBILITY IS USED

Screenmindr uses Android's Accessibility Service to enforce the parental
controls you set — this is what lets us block apps on your child's device and
detect if your child tries to disable, force-stop, or uninstall Screenmindr so
we can notify you.

To do this, Screenmindr reads text visible on the current screen (Google Play
classifies this as "page views and taps in app"). When a tamper attempt is
detected, only a short label — for example, "Uninstall Screenmindr opened" — is
sent to your parent account. Screenmindr never collects or transmits
keystrokes, screen contents, messages, or personal information.

Accessibility is off by default. During setup, we ask you to review and accept
an in-app explanation before turning it on. You can turn it off any time from
Android Settings.
