Screen Touch Lock helps prevent accidental taps, swipes, pauses, screen exits, and unwanted app interruptions when watching videos, using streaming apps, or handing your phone to a child.

Use Screen Touch Lock to create a manual touch blocker over other apps. Open the video, YouTube video, learning app, streaming app, or game you want to protect, then turn on the floating padlock. After a 5-second countdown, the screen touch lock activates and blocks accidental touches until you unlock it.

Screen Touch Lock is useful for kids video time, toddler screen time, YouTube, YouTube Kids, Netflix, Disney+, streaming apps, learning apps, music videos, video calls, recipe videos, and any moment where accidental touches can pause, skip, close, or exit what is playing.

How it works:
1. Open Screen Touch Lock and enable the required accessibility permission.
2. Open the video or app you want to protect.
3. Use the notification or floating padlock control.
4. Tap the padlock to start the 5-second countdown.
5. When locked, touches are blocked.
6. Double tap the padlock to unlock.

Screen Touch Lock is designed for simple, manual use. It is not a parental control app, child safety system, or device security tool. It helps reduce accidental screen touches while you supervise device use.

Accessibility disclosure:
Screen Touch Lock uses Android Accessibility Service only to display a touch-blocking overlay with a padlock button after you manually turn on the lock. The app does not read screen text, collect keystrokes, perform gestures, detect app content, collect passwords, or share accessibility data. This permission is required so the touch lock can work over other apps.

What’s new

Improved accidental touch protection with a safer unlock flow. The floating lock now requires a press-and-hold followed by a slide gesture to unlock, reducing accidental unlocks from repeated tapping while still allowing adults to unlock quickly.

Also added in-app Play Store review prompts after meaningful usage and updated subscription messaging to focus on unlimited accidental touch protection.
