About this app

Scribec is an AI-powered lecture recorder and study suite built specifically for university students. Whether you are watching a recorded tutorial or sitting in a live lecture, Scribec captures the information and instantly turns it into structured notes, flashcards, and quizzes so you can study faster and get better grades.

★ TWO WAYS TO RECORD
Scribec is built to handle any class format:
• Direct Screen Recording: Perfect for YouTube, Udemy, and recorded tutorials. Scribec captures your screen and internal audio simultaneously.
• Live Mic & Meeting Recorder: Taking a live Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet class? Just place your phone near your laptop speakers. Scribec’s advanced audio engine denoises the background sound to capture the lecture perfectly. (Also works great for in-person campus lectures!)

★ YOUR PERSONAL AI STUDY WINGMAN
Once the recording stops, Scribec’s AI goes to work processing your lecture:
• Smart Chapters: Skips the manual scrubbing. The app automatically generates chapter bookmarks with exact timestamps so you can jump straight to specific topics.
• Instant AI Summaries: Turns a 2-hour lecture into a concise, readable summary in seconds.
• Chat With Your Lecture: Missed a concept? Just ask the AI! You can chat directly with your lecture transcript to get specific answers based entirely on what your professor actually said.
• Action Items & Reminders: The AI listens for tasks and deadlines (like "quiz next Friday" or "read chapter 4") and automatically creates a to-do list for you.

★ BUILT FOR EXAM PREP
Don't just read your notes, test yourself.
• Smart Quizzes: Scribec generates multiple-choice quizzes based on the lecture material to test your retention.
• Auto-Flashcards: Instantly turns key concepts from the video into flashcards for rapid memorization.

★ STAY ORGANIZED
• Smart Folders: Create custom folders (e.g., "YouTube Tutorials," "CS301 Lectures") to keep all your recordings and study materials perfectly organized for midterms and finals.

Stop stressing about taking perfect notes and start actually listening to your classes. Scribec handles the documentation, so you can focus on learning.
