The developer knows the struggle firsthand. Even after studying in the U.S. on a government scholarship and serving at an international organization in Switzerland, fast native speech remained a wall. Starting listening practice in his mid-40s, he broke through by training only with real native audio — a method he documented in two published books on English learning (including one by a leading English-education publisher in Korea) and shared with a 50,000-member listening-study community he founded.
After years of studying with existing PC browser extensions, he built Script Looper to fix everything they couldn't do: no auto-repeat, poorly segmented subtitles, no way to fix sync issues, and machine-level translations.
KEY FEATURES
■ Loop Any Section
Tap once to repeat a subtitle line until you catch every word. Drag to select part of a line — or several lines — and loop exactly what you need.
■ Speed Control
No speech is too fast at 0.75x or 0.5x. Adjust speed even while looping.
■ AI Context Translation
ChatGPT and Gemini generate context-aware translations in your language, displayed line by line under subtitles restructured into natural sentence units. Long videos are divided into 5-minute sections, with completed sections marked so you can pick up where you left off.
■ Don't Understand? Drag & Ask
Words, idioms, even slang you won't find in dictionaries — drag to select anything and tap Ask. Get the meaning in context, nuance, and example sentences instantly, in your language.
■ Sync Adjustment
If subtitles and audio don't match, fix it on the fly in 0.1s or 0.5s steps. Especially useful for auto-generated captions.
■ Review Quizzes & Study Tracking
