ScriptRec is a simple teleprompter and video recorder in one app. Write or paste your script, press record, and read as it scrolls right under the camera lens, so you keep natural eye contact while you speak.

WRITE
• Write or paste a script of any length
• Keep all your scripts in one place, newest first
• See word count and reading time as you type

READ WHILE YOU RECORD
• Smooth scrolling that matches your speaking pace
• Adjust text size, scroll speed and text position
• Drag to resize the script area while you record, so it never covers your face
• Tap the screen to pause or resume the scrolling
• 3 or 5 second countdown before recording starts

RECORD
• Front or back camera
• Mirror preview for a natural selfie view (your saved video is never flipped)
• Pause and resume while recording
• Screen stays awake while you record

SAVE AND SHARE
• Videos are saved to Movies/ScriptRec on your phone
• Play, share or delete from My Videos
• Share to any app with the Android share sheet

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-up, no ads
• Your scripts and videos stay on your device unless you choose to share a video
• Works fully offline
• Only asks for camera and microphone access
