About this app

What if your phone moved you closer to God?
Bible Scroll turns the scroll habit into a Bible habit. Read Scripture one verse at a time in a full-screen feed that feels familiar.
No email account is required. The King James Version, Berean Standard Bible, and World English Bible are included for offline reading.
SCROLL THE BIBLE LIKE A FEED
Swipe up to move through every book and chapter. Your Bible text is stored on your device, so you can keep reading without an internet connection.
Tap the book name to open any chapter. Search for a word or a Bible reference. Use the shuffle control to find a random verse. Bible Scroll remembers where you stopped.
CHOOSE YOUR BIBLE EDITION
Read the King James Version, Berean Standard Bible, or World English Bible. Switch editions from the reader and search the edition you selected.
STUDY A VERSE
Select a verse and choose a study:
Explain Easier puts the verse into plain, modern words.
Original Language explores the Greek or Hebrew behind the English text.
Deeper Study explains the context, meaning, and practical application.
AI generates these studies, so they can contain mistakes. Each study has a Report control. Send us a report and we will read it.
DISCOVER
Open Discover when you do not know where to start. Each card includes a verse, its meaning, a fact, and related Bible references. You can study the verse, save it, write a note, or share it.
FOLLOW A READING PLAN
Choose from plans such as:
Start With John
A Proverb a Day
New Testament in 90 Days
Bible in a Year
Acts in a Month
Romans: Foundations
Gospels in 30 Days
A Psalm a Day
Chronological Bible
You can also create your own plan. Choose the books, set the pace, and let the app calculate your schedule.
A streak tracks the days you read. A progress bar shows how much of the Bible you have completed.
SAVE, WRITE, AND SHARE
Like a verse, bookmark it, or save it to your library. Write a note on any verse; the app saves the note as you type. Make a verse image with your own font, color, and layout. Save the image to Photos or send it to a friend.
MAKE READING COMFORTABLE
Choose a light or dark appearance. Select one of four text sizes. Turn on red letters for the words of Jesus. Set a daily reading reminder.
FREE AND PREMIUM
You can read the Bible, search, follow reading plans, write notes, use bookmarks, save verses, create verse images, and browse Discover without a subscription.
Premium unlocks AI-generated studies. Available plans, local prices, and any eligible trial appear before purchase. AI studies require an internet connection.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play.
YOUR DATA
Your notes, plans, streak, downloaded Bible text, and saved verses use local device storage. Bible Scroll does not provide cloud sync.

Ratings and reviews

I really like this concept but I think the app still needs a lot of work. if you choose any version besides KJV, sometimes the verses are cut off and can't be read fully. I like that you can dive deeper into each verse. I think you have a great concept but the app still needs fine tuning.

Bit of a shame I didn't have more time to try it for free before it would charge me $46. It gave me a 3 say trial period and my husband 7 days, what's that about? Uses AI to create a deeper study, so whilst it could be helpful, some things could be questionable.

Can't use the app without agreeing to pay $30 a year. Kinda lame that you would even charge money for something as useful as this. You could've just done banner ads or pop up ads in app, instead of making this a subscription based app. Uninstalling now, and I won't even be using the free trial either.
