ScrollGate uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to detect when you open an app you’ve chosen to block, so it can show the lock screen and enforce your focus settings. This is part of ScrollGate’s core functionality. ScrollGate does not use this permission to read messages, inspect typed text, or collect personal content.
