About this app

This is the application you must have on your device to control the action camera.

It offers real-time viewing of the video streaming from the camera, start recordings, take photos, see the photo you took and download the video or image.

How to connect:
1. Activate the camera's wifi
2. Connect your smartphone to the camera's wifi. The connection password is in the manual.
3. Open the HelloCam application
4. Click the 'connect' button

Camera functions with the app:
1. Live view of the camera
2. In live view mode, you can trigger the camera to take videos or photos
3. Continuous shooting mode
4. Timer trigger mode
5. Change the video quality
6. Change the image quality
7. You can format the camera's SD card
8. List the photo and video files
9. Download or delete the files
10. Photo reproduction
11. Video playback with audio

sucks never work had the camera for two years never use the app once I don't know what the app dose it a mystery although I think it's supposed to better the experience of the camera but what can I say of it you need a sim card not wifi or home internet as it doesn't work with that so yeah you can try if you like although heads up it don't know if you don't try teehee if it works for you let me know there got to be something wrong with my set-up then I would like to try the app someday soon thx

This app does not work with modern phones, it absolutely refuses to connect to any camera with anything newer than a Pixel 5. The app does work well on my older LG G4, however It is unacceptable to expect anyone to carry 2 phones just to use a single app. This app is the perfect example of what we in the software industry call an "MVP" AKA "Minimal Viable Product"

Have to connect to camera wifi AND disable cellular data to make it work--then the app will connect with the cam. Worked fine with my pixel 6a. Not a great app, but it does as promised. The app makes it much easier to edit the settings of the camera.
