About this app

Often, one needs to focus on the duty, job, or whatever it is, and has no time to monitor and supervise others. Sight Helper can help you to keep your kids, pets, bag or things that you named it in vincinity when you are busy or sleeping and cannot keep your eyes on.

Sight Helper can detect the distance between your mobile phone / tablet and devices such as health band, wrist band, smart watch, or another mobile phone while turning on the bluetooth. The APP triggers an alarm when a person wears on the device or object attached by the device goes too far away.

Instructions:
(1) The user needs to pair the device first by long-pressing the Bluetooth icon.
(2) If the device is already paired, the user has to make sure the Bluetooth is turned on.
(3) Afterwards, the user can select the prefered device from the list of paired devices. Only, the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices are available in the list.
(4) If the selected device is new, when the user presses the ‘START’ button, the APP will go thru calibration process. The users has to slowly walk a distance during the process. The APP will detect the range and calibrate itself. When the ‘Calibration done’ message shows up, the user should stop. The APP will communicate with device and the running point will display in a few seconds and alerting alarm will be triggered. If this has not happened, the user should walk back a bit.
(5) The calibrated data is saved for next application. One device data can be saved only. The user should not turn off the device during calibration or the data may be inaccurate. Please follow the message indicated.
(6) The user should try at an open area without obstacle. The direct distance may be shorter if there is obstacle in between.
(7) The APP continues running eventhough ‘Recent’, ‘Home’, ‘Back’ button is pressed or when screen is turned off. The only way to switch off the APP is by pressing ‘EXIT’ button of APP or ‘X Close’ button of menu.
