Edit: Only 30 frames per second using video on Android. Even though my brand new pixel 7 supports 60 frames per second. EDIT: so I ended up talking to Sea Life and even with 30 frames per second on the Android, the app and the case are amazing. I ended up using my wife's iPhone and the result was amazing. Hoping that the app will support 60 frames per second in the future. Minus the 30 frames per second issue on Android. The case is absolutely wonderful and worked perfectly on eight dives!!

Currently the app is "ok", the functions work on my S20. What annoys me during taking pictures is that it does not do 16:9 ratio, just the 4:3. I get around this by taking small videoclips, then extracting pictures from that. Also, there is no stabilization in video, which is annoying, since i need to use a seperate app for it. All of the above is purely the app itself, as the phone itself has all these options in the software. Please update this, it would make the app a lot better Thank you

Hi Ewald, Thank you for your review. The SportDiver app supports 16:9 and 4:3 formats. For example, the Galaxy S22 Ultra Photo setting includes an option for 8MP 3840x2160, which is 16:9. Image sensors used in smartphones are typically 4:3, which is the highest resolution. 16:9 crops off the top and bottom. We are working on adding stabilization.

On 02/12/22, ive reviewed that the controls when changing modes are a little sluggish and that the developers could utilize the inbuilt image stabilization. After my recent update on the software, I'm pleasantly surprised that the function to use the image stabilization has been added. I've yet to try it out, but it's a good job for the developers to listen to the consumers' feedback.
