About this app

Gurbani is the Light to illuminate this world; by His Grace, it comes to abide within the mind. ||1||

Time-Critical Alarms can be set for Nitnem (daily prayers) to ensure you never miss your spiritual duties, even if your device is locked.

The application provides Sikh Jantri and events (both original nanakshai and the one published by SGPC). The reminders for important events are popped as notification. One can modify the event definition or create his/her own events as desired.

Attention: Please use "Gurmukhi Keyboard" along with this application for typing-in the queries in Gurmukhi.

Searches Gurbani from SGGS, Vaaran and Kabit Savaiye Bhai Gurdas Ji. It also supports search from Dasam Granth. Recently added support for searching gurmukhi shabad from "Shabad Kosh". It supports fuzzy search and is tolerant to spelling mistakes.

One can add the shabad search results in favorites and can tag them. Organize the favorites, export them for future reference and import them as required. Choose different fonts from the provided list. Can opt to display gurbani in Hindi and enable/disable the english translation and many more.

The application also provides "Live Kirtan" from a variety of online content (channel) provider. This feature needs internet connectivity. One can listen to divine kirtans at the convenience of hand-held device any where, any time.

Please use Gurmukhi Keyboard to work with application. The keyboard will automatically toggle to Gurmukhi mode.
Important: Please use second Query option i.e. Append Trailing wildcard(*) if you face performance issues and append a wildcard at the beginning if search string is in the middle.

Following features are supported
- Gurbani Search on SGGS, Vaaran, Kabit Savaiye, Bhai Gurdas Ji, Dasam Granth.
- Sunder Gutka, Nitnem, Granth, jaapji shaib, Jap shaib, anand shaib. Rehras Shaib

Update - love this app so much I bought a year subscription!! But ever since then, the app doesn't open past the logo page. I have to Uninstall and reinstall EVERY SINGLE TIME. I would like to cancel my subscription and go back to the free mode please. How do I go about doing that? Also, I've tried to do it in airplane mode. I've tried it all. What is the point of the sehaj paath addition for subscribed users if I lose my saved data everytime?

I UPDATE MY REVIEW... Thanks a lot for solving my problem. My ignorance led me to the problem of being not able to switch off translation. THANK YOU "Switch off translations" option is no more available. VERY BAD IDEA. 4 stars out of 5 gone🤕. If I can't remove translations, I can't use it for doing sahaj paath. It disturbs😒. Kindly allow uncheck boxes for translations.🙏

I have been using this app for years, always loved the interface, so bought a subscription to support this wonderful app. Just one thing, e.g. if I have to cind Chandi di Vaar, I'll have to scroll every page of The Dasam Granth to find it. Please let me know if there is a more efficient way to navigate through the bani (and I still can't find Chandi Di Var.) Except for this issue (it might be my incapability to navigate through the app) it is a great app, my whole family uses it and loves it
