About this app

SeaVectors is professional marine navigation for boaters: official NOAA ENC nautical charts, live marine weather, official tide and current predictions, AIS collision awareness, and a link to your boat's NMEA instruments — in one boat GPS app.

Everything you see is built on official ENC chart data. This isn't a street map with water on it.

OFFICIAL ENC NAUTICAL CHARTS
Navigate on full NOAA ENC coverage for the United States plus high-definition vector charts for the Canada West Coast, built from the S-57 standard and drawn with S-52 symbology — the same ECDIS presentation used on commercial ship bridges. Vector charts stay sharp at any zoom.
• Nautical, night, satellite and relief chart styles
• Boat-specific safety contour and safety depth
• Tap any chart object to read its official attributes
• Toggle depth areas, contours, soundings, hazards, lights, buoys, beacons, cables, restricted areas and labels

BOAT GPS AND NAVIGATION
Position, COG, SOG and charted depth under the boat, live in the nav bar — with locate, follow and course-up 3D tracking, the way you use a chartplotter under way.

CONNECT TO YOUR BOAT — NMEA 0183 AND NMEA 2000
Join your boat's network over Wi-Fi and stream live instrument data: speed, depth, wind, heading, position, RPM, fuel and more, with multiple engines, tanks and batteries handled properly. Build your own marine instrument dashboard from two dozen widgets. No proprietary hardware required.

AIS COLLISION AWARENESS
See nearby AIS vessels on the chart with closest point of approach (CPA) and time to CPA (TCPA). Configurable thresholds, colour-coded risk ranking, flashing warnings and audible alarms help you spot a developing collision risk early.

TIDES AND CURRENTS FROM CHS AND NOAA
Official Canadian Hydrographic Service and NOAA tide and tidal-current stations sit directly on the nautical chart. Read current speed and direction, flood and ebb, slack water, turning times, tide height and the next highs and lows — the timing that matters in channels, narrows and tidal passages.

MARINE WEATHER ON THE CHART
Animated overlays for rain, temperature, wind, gusts, waves, tides and currents, plus a full-screen forecast that lines up every category on one timeline. Choose the model: automatic, NOAA NWS, or Environment Canada where available.

14-DAY OFFLINE MARINE FORECASTS
Download 14 days of rain, wind, wave, tide and current forecasts for your trip area before departure. Losing signal offshore no longer costs you the conditions.

ROUTES, TRACKS AND MARKERS
Plan multi-leg routes with distance, ETA and fuel estimates, then preview them with route simulation. Measure with a distance ruler and convert it to a route in one tap. Record and replay tracks as a logbook, and mark fishing spots, anchorages and hazards with notes, photos or video.

ALERTS FOR RESTRICTED AREAS AND FISHING CLOSURES
Get alerted near charted Restricted Areas and supported DFO fishery closures in British Columbia — and tap through to read the actual rule before you drop a line.

MARINE SEARCH AND OFFLINE CHARTS
Find marinas, anchorages, fishing spots, stations, and your own routes and markers. Charts cache as you browse, so coverage you've viewed stays available with no connection.

Weather, tides, currents and station data are available in English and Simplified Chinese.

WHO IT'S FOR
Coastal cruising, sailing, sport fishing, kayaking, delivery skippers and small-craft professionals — anyone who wants a real ENC chart and their boat's data on one screen.

SeaVectors aids navigation. It does not replace official paper charts, a proper lookout, or prudent seamanship.

What’s new

Plan the whole trip, not just this moment.

Route Weather: set your departure time and boat speed, and every point on your route shows the forecast for the time you'll actually be there. Scroll the timeline and the map, time and position move together.

Tide and current predictions along a route now come from the nearest CHS or NOAA station to each point.

Plus every weather category on one timeline, redrawn wind and wave overlays, and an alert the moment you enter a DFO closure.
