This app features various functionalities which enhance the connection with the Go Plus, the Ball Plus, the Go Plus + and the Go-tcha accessory.

Some of the accessory features are:
• A connection boost which reduces the lag between the user input (button press) and the game recognizing it
• A reminder when you lose connection to the accessory
• A valued percentage of the battery left in your accessory
• A statistic feature which keeps track of everything your accessory is doing

These are just some functionalities of GO Companion and more will be added in future updates!

great app. unfortunately Niantic re-naming all devices as companion devices / accessory devices broke how this app interacts with the gotcha. it will still do the boost and timer, but no longer tracks stats. its not the apps fault! it's Niantic. there's also bugs with all devices and not catching. that's a bug for all players not just users of this app.

Worth it, def catches faster and having statistics is amazing. The notifications are also very welcome and much better than anything PoGo offers and all the costumization it offers is also great. Couldn't reccomend enough for someone who owns a go plus or any PoGo device (works with gotchas for sure!). Only reason it's not 5 stars is cause it sometimes doesn't recognize any device (or stops doing so while using it) and this has happened more often recently, usually solved by just resetting tough

I actually always use this when I use my Pokemon go+ at this point, I wonder why Niantic won't just do this or enable a setting for it. Definitely improves the connection just by itself. I've also used this app with a gotcha evolve which brought the average connection time from 15-20 to 45-hr. Also has a push notification option for when the connection does die so you can reconnect the right away. With a few modified phone settings, this thing helps it run super nicely!
