Hide secret messages inside ordinary text.
Secreta is a hidden text app that creates private messages in plain sight. Write the normal message everyone may read, add secret text, and Secreta weaves the hidden message into invisible Unicode characters. The result still looks like the original text. Copy or share it through the chat app, SMS, email, or social app you already use. The recipient pastes the complete text into Secreta to reveal the secret.
HIDDEN TEXT MESSAGES, NOT A NEW INBOX
Secreta is not a separate secret chat app, private texting app, or secure messenger. It works alongside the apps where you already talk. Hide text messages for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, SMS, email, a group chat, or a public post without moving anyone to a new communication service.

PASSWORD-PROTECTED MESSAGE ENCRYPTION
Hidden is not the same as encrypted. Without a password, anyone with Secreta can reveal the secret. Add a password to protect it with authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption and Argon2id key derivation. A wrong password or modified encrypted message does not reveal the hidden text.
Use Secreta as an encrypted text app, encrypted message app, or focused text encryption tool without creating another account. Add portable message encryption to a private chat, secure messaging app, or encrypted texting app you already prefer.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Message content is created and revealed on your device. Your visible text, hidden text, received messages, passwords, and revealed secrets are not uploaded or stored by Secreta. Hiding and revealing work offline, and no account is required.

You can also create password-protected private notes, encrypted notes, secret text, or a secret notepad entry, then copy the portable result into any notes app or file you choose. Secreta does not maintain a notes library or cloud vault.
HOW TEXT STEGANOGRAPHY WORKS
The secret becomes invisible Unicode characters. That is text steganography: concealment hides the existence of a message, while optional encryption protects its contents.
Secreta detects and decodes messages made with Secreta. It is not a universal steganography decoder, steganography detection suite, hidden text remover or invisible text keyboard.

Write the ordinary text everyone may see.
Write the secret message you want to hide.
Optionally add a password.
Create and share the complete combined text.
The recipient pastes it into Secreta and reveals the secret.
Important: the recipient needs Secreta. For password-protected messages, share the password separately. Send the complete text without editing or shortening it.
