About this app

LQW is a sleep-sound app that plays lullabies live. There are no ready-made recordings or repeating loops: ney, kanun and strings are played on your phone the moment you listen.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• LULLABY — familiar, public-domain lullabies: Brahms' Lullaby, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Suo Gân, Arrorró Mi Niño, Fais Dodo, Dandini Dandini Dastana and more, plus ancient melodies such as the Seikilos Epitaph and the Lullaby for a Son of Shulgi.
• HUM — a deep, calm sound, with 11 tones from low to high.
• WOMB — a setting close to the sound inside the womb.
• PULSE — a calm heartbeat.
• CREATE — composes a brand-new lullaby at every press. Three characters: Balanced, Calm, Lively.

DESIGNED FOR THE NIGHT
• A quiet, dark interface with a soft light in the middle that breathes with the sound.
• While playing, the text fades after a few seconds and returns with a tap. You can also black out the screen completely while the sound keeps going.
• No buttons to find in the dark: swipe up or down for volume, left or right to change the lullaby.
• When the timer ends, the sound fades out on its own with a long, gentle close.
• Keeps playing with the screen off; stop it from the notification.
• Two-step stop: a single accidental tap won't cut the lullaby.

SAFE LISTENING
• Baby mode (volume cap and softened treble) is on by default.
• We recommend placing the device at least 2 metres from the baby's sleep area and keeping the volume low (American Academy of Pediatrics, 2023 statement).

PRIVACY AND SIMPLICITY
• No account, no ads, no trackers.
• Sounds are generated on your device; no internet needed to play.
• No microphone, camera, location or contacts access.
• The short notes you leave in the morning stay on your phone only.
• In 12 languages: Türkçe, English, Español, Deutsch, Français, Português, Русский, العربية, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, 中文.

START FREE
One sound in every menu is free and plays for up to 45 minutes. A one-time "Unlock all" purchase opens every lullaby, every hum tone, every pulse tempo, all Create characters and long timers up to 8 hours. No subscription.
