System Cove would not work at all. After several tech support tries, they sent me their new “upgraded” system. I was never able to activate the system. However, I discovered that I have been paying for monthly billing for over 1.5 years on a system that has never been activated. (partially our fault since we did have another Cove system for our business – didn’t notice that we were getting billed twice until it was too late). Cove said sorry and kept the $$ - CANCELLED!

This worked ok when it used the CoveSmart app for its cameras. But out of nowhere cameras wouldn't connect and turns out they no longer support them and you have to get the Kami app which is absolutely HORRIBLE. Ads you can't get passed. No chance you can see your video feed in an emergency. The only solution is to pay a second subscription to Kami (so you're paying for two subscriptions, Cove and Kami) or buy new cameras from Cove. Boo!

App access for panel controls only being available to Plus ($26 plan/month) users almost makes the entire system useless. The app can also be more streamlined, organized, and offer ways to add and take payment options off, make payments, and purchase replacement equipment or additional if you already have it. While the panel may do what is asked, the app is a huge part of controls and adjustments for the panel and it can be faulty. It'd be nice to adjust other features of the panel via app too.
