Android users. Get Firefox first. Download securew2 app. Connect to your organization wifi, wait for the pop up, GO to the browser menu and select "don't run this network" (or something like that). Now run firefox, make sure your wifi still connected. If not connect again. On the organization page, go to the link that takes you to join the secured wifi, click "join". It should ask you for your credentials. Good luck
Security requirements a nuissance Don't know whether the institution required that I have an unlock code or if it's an inherent property of the app, but I hate it. I hate this app in every way. Makes using wifi at my school demand more battery and takes away my ability to set the level of security on my phone that I feel is appropriate, and provides absolutely no benefits.
This app is annoying. I have re-enter my credentials everyday just because I leave campus and go home. It should connect me automatically without having to do that.
Had to download an app to use wifi... Why not log in with a password like any other, Seems pointless but my school requires it. Not only that it forces me to have a password to unlock my phone itself. Says I'm connected but I have no internet access. how ever the app routes the network every website or service is "unsecured" so I can't access anything online as browsers automatically blocks Insecure sites/connections. Wait isn't the app supposed to give me a secure connection? I fail to see how this is needed
Can't stand it. Wish there was anything else to use to access my college WiFi. The app has no recognition that feedback has been left and continually asks you to rate it. User ID and password fields are always forgotten (on a personal device this makes no sense) and there's no option to even have it remember either field. It asks for feedback every time it successfully logs in. If I could give it a negative score, I would.
This app is broken Other devices connect to the Wi-Fi just fine, but Android devices using this app have no luck.
