First all the app is so ugly and not user-friendly at all. The layouts and style is from the early stages of Android. Continue and Cancel buttons are located underneath your keyboard. Multiple pop-up at the same time, which is so annoying when you make the wrong choice because a new pop-up opens up above the other one. And the unbreakable loops with (re)connecting. You have to restart the app when it is stuck in those loop. 2 stars because at the and it worked.
The old way to connect to campus Wi-Fi was 100x better. I'm sad to see my school went with a lowest bidder trash Wi-Fi service as this. Unnecessarily complicated, doesn't do anything it says it will. Useless.
The User Interface is absolute garbage. It took me longer than it should to figure out how to connect to the secure wifi. The app does work, and once I figured out how to use it I was able to connect instantly. The devs really need to work on the user interface, follow material design guidelines and just streamline the entire experience. I'm on a Nexus 6P, Nougat, rooted, Elementalx Kernel. Edit: No Longer works/connects to wifi on Android O Developer Preview 2
It worked on my android, but it kept saying there was an issue since I had previously setup my campus WiFi and I had to manually remove it so that this app could make a new connection. It took me no more than five minutes to figure it out, tops... however the user interface isn't the greatest... it's not complete trash but it could use some love
I have no idea why this app is necessary. When it works well it helps to make connecting to the internet a longer and more irritating process. When it doesn't work well, you have no chance of connecting.
Super confusing descriptions and took forever to connect. Errored out multiple times and did not integrate with university's IT infrastructure well.
1. For SSO based authentication methods such as SAML or google OAuth, Chrome Custom Tabs would be used to open external URL instead of WebView.
