Seed Masters is a traditional Yoruba board game, widely played in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa. It is sometimes simply called Ayo.
The game is played on a wooden board (called olopon) that has twelve holes arranged in two rows of six.
Each hole contains four seeds or pebbles at the start, making a total of 48.
It is usually a two-player game, where each player tries to capture as many seeds as possible by skillfully sowing and re-sowing the seeds around the board.
