There are many names for this simple yet entertaining card game that is often played during the new year with friends and family.
Ngauculator automates the thinking process by replacing the human trial-and-error method with a simple yet highly effective algorithm.
HOW DOES NGAUCULATOR WORK?
The player inputs the cards he or she was dealt using the prepared interface. The program then analyses and runs through each and every possible combination of these cards. The combination that results in the highest score is then returned and displayed to the player.
WHY SHOULD I USE NGAUCULATOR?
Finding the best combination by yourself is part of the fun, but if there is a dispute or if there are high stakes in play, you are welcome to double confirm your combination with Ngauculator.
Ngauculator will ALWAYS return the best possible combination EVERY TIME without fail. If an error or bug is found, feel free to report it immediately to seejaydev@gmail.com.
WHAT VERSION OF NGAU CAN THIS BE USED FOR?
Ngauculator was designed based on the way I play it with my friends. Therefore, there may be slight differences between the way I play and the way you play. Here is a general overview of our rules:
Double = 10
3 = 3 or 6
6 = 6 or 3
Ace = 1 or 10 (This can be tweaked in-app)
In regular games, the Ace is only ever worth a 1. A toggle is available that allows you to enable the program to recognize Ace as 10 as well.
This version of the app is a full rewrite of the previous app, featuring an improved user interface and more customizability available to the user.
