I've never played the og Mega CD game, but can I say this is a great port! The ads aren't too prominent compared to the other ports and the option to watch the intro and choose the soundtrack is great! (Even tho we all know JP's is best) My only issues are that the D-Pad is a little funky, sometimes I might Super Peel Out when I'm trying to change direction, but it's to be expected with mobile games. Also, sometimes you get crushed when standing too close to corners with moving platforms.

Honestly, I don't see what people have against this game. I bought the ad free version of the game right away because I can't stand ads, and from there it was smooth sailing. Everything about the game is perfect, including the option to switch from the inferior US soundtrack to the cooler, better Japanese soundtrack. Anyone complaining that the bosses are too hard are just bad at the game. They are BOSSES. They are supposed to be difficult, also, the special stages are really cool! 5 stars.

This game is a gem. Maybe controversial, but I think CD was the 2nd best Classic Sonic game, after 3 of course. The ads aren't as intrusive as the other 2 ports and the games is very polished for all devices. However, it would awesome if there was a way to officially port your data over, as I have unlocked nearly all the extras on my tablet, but want to transfer the data to my phone. Other than that, very solid port of the game, 9/10.
