FIGHT THE VOID, A REAL ENDING
Most arcade games just end. Drift has a climax. Every run ends when the Void descends, but survive long enough and often enough and you finally earn the chance to fight back. It is a real boss fight against the dark itself, with a true ending when you win. Beat it on Extreme to unlock Impossible.
PURE PHYSICS, TWO TAPS
Stars, planets, and black holes scroll past. Instead of dodging them, you use their gravity to survive.
Tap left to attract toward the nearest body.
Tap right to repel away from it.
The physics only cares about the closest body to you. A soft ring shows which one is pulling you, and a dashed line shows when you are attracting or repelling. The speed ramps up relentlessly, and then it becomes pure precision. Easy to learn in seconds, hard to master.
TEN DISTINCT ORBS
Every orb plays differently, each with its own deep, branching skill tree:
DRIFTER, balanced arcade chaos with chance, cadence, and cascading powerups.
PHANTOM, a ghost that phases through danger and reaps from the dark.
INFERNO, multi-wave novas, firefields, and orbiting collapse.
WARP, hyperspeed mobility that bends space and tears open rifts.
BULWARK, a defensive tank of shield stacking and EMP cascades.
ROAMER, an evolved Drifter with three playstyles: Pulse, Thread, and Pressure.
PHANTASM, an evolved Phantom that summons wraiths and spawns duplicates of yourself.
HELIOS, an evolved Inferno that commands suns and searing light.
TACHYON, an evolved Warp that spawns echoes of yourself and collapses space.
LEVIATHAN, an evolved Bulwark that dives deep and becomes the crushing dark.
FOUR DIFFICULTY MODES
Normal to learn the gravity dance. Hard for tighter spacing and a faster ramp. Extreme for maximum density and aggressive speed. Impossible for endless escalation, unlocked only by beating the Void on Extreme. The challenge never stops.
DEEP PROGRESSION
Earn crystals, unlock orbs, and invest in skill trees. Every orb uses a branching three-path tree with an active-loadout system. Own nodes with crystals, then activate them within a point budget you reshape between runs. Capstones unlock entirely new playstyles, and each orb has its own cosmetic trail to earn. Skill refunds at a small fee with full return, so you can keep experimenting.
FOUR POWERUPS AND NINE PAIR COMBOS
Shield absorbs collisions and turns walls into bounces. Nova fires an expanding shockwave that destroys everything in range. Hyperspeed sends a barrier plowing ahead through planets. Ghost lets you phase through everything. All four join the gravity system, so you attract or repel them like planets. Catch two at once to trigger combos like Supernova, Eternal Phantom, Fortress Shield, and Warp Time. Discover all nine.
