About this app

Ten years after the first digital version of its Wine Guide, the Veronelli Seminar puts not only the information contained in the 1,272 pages of the 2022 edition "at your touch", but also a tool that makes it easy and intuitive to consult other valuable contents.

Graphics and user interface of the I Vini di Veronelli app have been profoundly renewed with the introduction of new search functions made even more effective by the large number of filters and by the accurate geolocation service, extended for the first time to winemakers, wineries and Places of Good Drinking: 208 restaurants where wine is the protagonist, told and recommended by the editorial staff.

More in-depth analysis was reserved for the description of the Producer and, starting from the respective company sheet, it is possible to broaden the knowledge of a wine by quickly drawing on both the integral contents of the last five editions of the volume and hundreds of articles published on the Veronelli Seminar website.

2,168 companies are described in the Gold Guide I Vini di Veronelli 2022 and 16,642 labels have been selected by the curators Andrea Alpi, Gigi Brozzoni, Marco Magnoli and Alessandra Piubello. The Three Gold Stars, reserved for excellent wines that obtained an evaluation equal to or higher than 94/100, were assigned to 399 samples; while there are 25 Grandi Esordi, wines of surprising quality at the first review. As usual, the special Sun award and the Best Tasting crown were awarded, respectively, to 10 and 5 extraordinary labels, from the Aosta Valley to the Island of Ustica.

In addition to being available on the main stores, from this year onwards, those who buy (or receive as a gift) the printed edition of the Gold Guide can consult the application on their smartphone for free, by activating the 2022 edition via a personalized QR Code.

The first guide to Italian wines and wine culture "according to Veronelli", therefore, can now be consulted in a single app: just a few touches are enough to start the discovery of our immense wine heritage!
