About this app

SeniorHub Tablet turns an Android tablet into a display screen for an older relative's home. Standing in the living room or the kitchen, it shows what matters today in very large type. There is nothing to do with it: nobody needs to touch it.

WHAT IT SHOWS, IN ROTATION
• The date and the time, very large.
• Today's and this week's appointments, and the month calendar.
• What is planned at home: the small things to do, who is coming and when.
• The photos the family shares.
• Notes pinned by relatives ("I'll drop by Thursday around 3").
• Today's weather.
• The household's useful contacts, with their name and phone number.

SET UP REMOTELY BY THE FAMILY
From the SeniorHub Aidants app, a relative picks which screens appear, in what order and for how long. Changes reach the tablet within seconds, with nobody having to travel.

AT NIGHT, THE SCREEN GOES OFF
Time windows turn the screen off or dim it, so the room stays dark. A single touch wakes it up.

LOCKED ON THE DISPLAY
The tablet stays on its display screen: nothing else can be opened by mistake, and the app restarts on its own after a reboot. No menu, no settings within reach.

INCOMING VIDEO CALLS
A relative authorised by the household can call the tablet. It rings, shows who is calling, and offers two very large buttons: Answer or Decline. Neither the camera nor the microphone turns on outside an accepted call.

GETTING STARTED
A relative displays a QR code in the SeniorHub Aidants app, you scan it from the tablet, and the screen is attached to the household. Two minutes, once.

PRIVACY
SeniorHub Tablet does not provide medical monitoring, diagnosis, or emergency services. It is read-only: it displays, it changes nothing and it asks for nothing. It only shows what household members already share with each other, and only to the people standing in the room.

THE SENIORHUB FAMILY OF APPS
• SeniorHub Aidants: the family's app, to organise everything together.
• SeniorHub Accueil Simplifié: the simplified home screen for an older relative's phone, with large buttons.
• SeniorHub Assist: remote help over video, on an older relative's phone.
• SeniorHub Tablet: this app, the display screen standing at home.

Each app installs separately and works with the same SeniorHub household.
The household display screen: agenda, photos and notes, in very large type.

What’s new

• Contacts now have a face: an initial on a coloured disc, so you can tell at a glance who to call.
• Whatever the tablet keeps for offline use is now encrypted on the device.
• More reliable pairing: the QR code carries the service address, just like the install link.
