Sense is an energy monitor that frequently disconnects! it started with a few offline notifications and I just learned the app disconnected from the meter some while ago by itself. zero notifications. How is that helpful? there are zero opportunities to get an accurate reading. you're better off paying the electric company what they quote over using/connecting with this app.

The app worked great for a week and then suddenly it lost Wi-Fi connection and ever since has failed to find any Wi-Fi network. Extremely difficult to get live help. Update 8/13/26... customer service is a sham. By email only with no follow up. Really disappointing. Will be calling National Grid to file a formal complaint at least to get something on record.

The app isn't as reliable since it has been sold, and they keep changing the format and reducing the comparison and history screens. It is still a great device to monitor your power production and usage. Since the last update the app won't open on my phone. I hope they stop messing with the app options, and comparison screens as I am starting to lose faith. I know the unit works extremely well but the app for you to access the info is slowly losing my confidence. 3/27 more options gone! SAD!
