Inherent bug where the sensibo unit will disconnect from the network whenever my phone is connected to the same network.. Very disappointing after buying the device at such premium.

No horisontial control which means the AC defaults to blowing all air to the left which in turn means just blowing into another walk and not spreading cool/heated air at all. Kinda useless for me. Other than that app and controller does what it promises

Love the app and all but the only thing I wish they would do is that it refreshes the current status of the AC. I got 2 people using the app. Let's say one person logs in and turns it on. I log in later and it displayed off instead of on . So I tap it and think I just turned it on but in reality I just turned it off. Is their a way to get the app to refresh and display the current status of the AC? Thanks

Hi Stanley, We apologize for your experience, however the Sensibo device and the Sensibo app have no interaction over the WiFi. Thus it must be either a local network problem or a coincidence. Please contact support for further investigation.

The app should be refreshing automatically when you launch it. Make sure you have the latest version. You can also always refresh manually by pulling down on the screen from any screen.

Really appreciate that they have regular updates to make this all even greater. Some good features in there. Would like to have the opportunity to tweak the current temperature display. Seems to be off by at least 1C, probably a thermometer issue in the device but if I had the opportunity to adjust the display temperature it would be good. Adding new icons could be a good thing as well. Keep up updating this app. Much appreciated.

The product is good and works flawless, but the integration with Google Home is a little frustrating, too long commands on Google Home just to turn on/off.

LOVE IT! However, unable to Link to Google Home... The Instructions Online are not accurate. It says Open Setting...Go To More Settings...then Assistant Apps...then look for Smart AC...but they don't have Assistant Apps as an Option nor do they have Smart AC as an Option in the Devices list anyways...

Update: There is a bug in the app. If you have multiple schedules set up and you edit one that is not the last on the list, it overwrites all subsequent schedules with the info you just added so you end up with multiple copies of the same schedule item. Please fix and i'll change back to 5 stars. Original: It took 2 mins to set up with the new sensibo sky...very slick! It works flawlessly with my fujitsu heatpump. It has all of the options which are on the remote, modes, fan speeds, swing. Scheduling is a breeze. Very impressed!

Works intermittently, beta product Product works but reliability is not guaranteed. Pods battery lasts 5 mths or so. 5pods, still not detecting on/off but at least can manual set it on/off

Good customer support. 12-Dec-16 I received the Home Kit via $53 fast shipping. Initial setup a bit trying but customer service worked diligently to have have all 3 pods working. As of 5-Jan-17, my 3rd pod is working fine. I will recommend this to a friend. A minor bug prevented me from changing the icon on my kitchen pod. A 5 star if fixed!

Great product, one issue I'm using Sensibo since they launched at Indiegogo. Both my wife and myself are using the app and it works great. We had a pleasant surprise twice to receive a replacement battery via mail. The only issue that you must find a resolution to is syncing with the old remote or the AC when turned on/off not via the app. It's always weird to see it's still on in the app when someone in the house turned it off manually.

I have 3 pods and will be adding more soon. I love and need this app to work correctly, especially the scheduling. But at the same time as the latset app was launched, all my scheduling stopped working. WTF!? I have done everything to fix it on this end, the issue isn't here. Also. when will they know if the units have been turned on by the remote vs the app? We need this also, and to add features like being able to schedule temperature/fan changes, not just turn on/off at desinated times.

Hi Heather - we added an option to sync your A/C manually in the app if it was turned on/off via the remote (it's in the A/C settings and will pop up when you try to change temp or similar when the A/C is off in the app). Other methods are not successful or possible (will shorten battery life by A LOT)

So far so good but... I wish the icons for the AC being on vs off weren't so similar. Red versus green instead of different shades of blue would be much more helpful.

Hi Dale - we use glowing white for ON and grey for OFF and added "ON/OFF" text in the center of the screen. The background of the ON/OFF button reflects the mode you're in - blue for cool and fan, orange for heat. I hope this helps for now.

Changed rating because update delivered nothing I even understand - let alone was hanging out for. Also, I can't understand the additional screen where you get to select the Sensibo Pod you wish to interact with. Seriously, how many users have more than one? Surely, multiple pods should be accessed via widgets. This intro screen is a pain! And, no change after last update ... in fact, what exactly did it deliver? Something about syncing something? WTF?

Hi Peter - you should see the last Pod you were in when opening the app so the screen with all Pods (in your case - just one) will rarely be seen by you. We added an option to sync A/C state with the app in case you used your remote and now the app thinks your A/C is on when it's off (and vice versa)

Schedule now works perfectly! This app allows control of your dumb AC if you purchase the Sensibo hub and pod/s. Easy to set up and to operate. getting better all the time. Unbelievably useful.. Can not say enough about the product and support.. Way to go!!

They just can't keep it working Every week it seems there's a new 'upgrade' that fixes most of the issues created by the previous 'upgrade' while creating a set of whole new issues!!!! Don't touch it yet. They're not even close to getting it right.

Perfect Awesome product great app. Turns on when I tell it and turns off when I tell it to. You can even go to the Web browser and it will sense vibration if you don't trust the app. Very easy to install and customer support is excellent. *****

Just Can't Seem To Keep It Stable Getting Really frustrating new version out 1.0.117 and it just crashes when selecting certain pods and you can't remove the pods and try and reinstall them, stop pushing out unstable product releases

When it works, it's amazing The app works, flows well and is useful.the schedule is amazing. However there are enough bugs that are incredibly annoying, such as app being frozen on load from background.

Very limited features and functionality. Most of the promised campaign features were never developed. Outrageous price for additional pod if you ever want to expand to more A/Cs. Hardware keeps having to be reset :(

Needs to be more reliable Works most of the time. Sometimes it will not send the commands properly, for example temperature change or turn off. Even if it says it was successful.

Hi Josh - we have a fix for this in the next version (should be up soon), in the meantime you can bypass this by enabling location permissions for Sensibo in your settings. EDIT: update is up! Can you give it a try?

I erased by mistake my previous review. Basically it won't install on a tablet (Nexus 7 Android 5.1.1), Short range of the pod forcing non-optimal location, flimsy build of battery contacts and complete lack of automation and/or scheduling features so IFTTT is a must. Nice concept but the product completely failed for me as it's also unable to determine if the AC is actually switched on.

Very easy to use. Loving it Very easy setup and controls my mini split perfectly. Such a great purchase. I was feeling left out of the IoT given that the Nest only works with wired thermostats. Not anymore. My AC now works in my schedule!

Works well, feels right, makes sense This is the life in 2015. Controlling the air conditioning without getting up in the middle of work (air conditioner controller not in my office). Why didn't I get this sooner?
