Proximity Flashlight application is a simple utility to automatically On or Off camera LED flashlight using proximity sensor, instead of having to press any button manually. Proximity Flashlight is free, intuitive and easy to use torch app for Android. Our app uses the built-in camera LED flash and provides the brightest light as possible.
Proximity Flashlight is a helpful app at home and work. This torch is the brightest and the most useful flashlight you will ever have. Avoid using the old candle and use the new Proximity Flashlight app 2020. In new update, we can added some special feature. In below shortly described:


Tap Count
Set the number of times you have to tap finger on the proximity sensor to turn On or Off the flashlight. Default tap count is 1. This feature is useful to avoid accidentally flashlight On or Off.


Landscape mode
Don't turn On the flashlight when the screen rotates horizontally. This mode will prevent to turn On the flashlight when you are taking photos or watching movies in landscape.

Call detecting mode
This mode will detect which call is incoming or outgoing. After detecting a call, it will help to pause proximity sensor (wave mode) to prevent flashlight On by accident.

WAY overcomplicated for those just looking for the app that turns the proximity sensor into an instant hold-switch, or wtvr they're called, that works while the screen's off. I had one(called "SensorFlashlight", v1.1) with said functionality on my Galaxy S3. Just upgraded to the S5(yes I'm that cheap & don't need a "new" phone until the old one no longer functions acceptably) & looked for it here on G-Play. No luck. Thankfully, I was able to port it over & enjoy its functionality on my new phone. 2020-10-14 Edit: Re: "This bug is fix now." Yea bro, that's hilarious. As if being so over-complicated could be a simply fixed 'bug'. [eye-roll]

First of all requirs camera permission which i don't know why. But even if i just ignore it, still the accidental tap and hold delay option doesn't work. Accidental tap requries internet connection, and when i press ok then the app says may cause internet problem and does't turn on this option.

i always read the reviews before i download any app because who knows better then the people using said app, right. I'm going with the migority and giving a 5 star rating. This app does what it says it does and it's not complicated in settings. Best of all the flashlight doesn't turn on whenever it feels like it or show up open on your screen unexpectedly. So great job developers I'll be sure to tell my friends about this app.
