Going alone? It doesn't have to be that way.
Seratella shows you real events in your area, from Christmas markets to church fairs. Just swipe "Yes" if you want to go. If four people want to go on the same day, the app suggests a get-together—with a meeting point and chat, without anyone having to be the host.
"There's something going on" becomes "Let's go as a group of four"—even if you don't know anyone in your city yet.
What's on in your area
In autumn, it's time for wine festivals, pumpkin festivals, and autumn markets. In Franconia, the church fair is called Kerwa, in western and northern Germany, Kirmes—you'll find all three in the app. When it gets dark earlier, the Martinimarkt (St. Martin's Market) arrives, followed by the Christmas market in Advent, whether it's the Christkindlesmarkt in the city or the Advent market in the neighboring town. Flea markets and dance evenings are available all year round. So far, you'll find a particularly large selection in Franconia, around Nuremberg, Fürth, and Erlangen.
What's on in your area Want to go?
A dedicated tab shows you one event after another, all around the location you choose. A right turn means: would go. A left turn means: not for me. That's all there is to it.
Want to go
On the home screen, you can see how many people are already planning to go on your chosen day and how many are still missing. You'll only see who's going once the event is set up.
Meet up without a host
If four people RSVP, the app creates the event: meeting point, time, chat. Groups of four to six. No one has to invite anyone, no one has to clean up. This way, you can meet new people while out and about without anyone having to make the first move.
Cooking nights and tastings
You can also host your own events: a cooking night, a wine tasting, or a tasting of everything from whisky to chocolate. In a blind tasting, everyone brings something within the agreed-upon price range—hidden and numbered, then rated in the app. Whoever creates the winning dish wins. For a cooking night, the app helps with a potluck and shopping list, allergy and dietary information, and even selects the winning dish.
Near you or with friends
You choose the location yourself—via search, your saved address, or your current location. Open meetups are visible to everyone, while closed ones are only visible to your group. Meetups can be shared via a link. And for those who don't want to travel: In the video room, you can taste together, each in your own kitchen.
Privacy first
Publicly, you're only visible by your first name and avatar. Your real photo and exact address are only visible after your participation has been confirmed. An event listing only shows how many people are attending—never who. Reporting, blocking, and completely deleting your account are possible at any time.
You can report, block, or completely delete your account at any time. How it works
1. Swipe: Events in your area, one after the other. Right if you want to go.
2. If four people want to go on the same day, the app suggests a meeting. You confirm.
3. Then the meeting point and chat are displayed in the app—no one has to be the host.
4. Or you can invite others yourself: to a cooking night or to your own get-together.
