About this game

Backgammon the way it is actually played: gather the dice, throw them across the board, score a gammon.

Şeşbeş brings classic Turkish backgammon over without softening the rules. If you are hit, you enter from the bar first. If only one die is playable, you play the higher one. If the point is blocked, you pass. Nothing added, nothing removed.

ONLINE TABLES
You are matched with a real player who picked the same table. A Rookie table stakes 500 gold, a Legend table 250,000. Winner takes the pot, a gammon doubles it. If your opponent leaves the table, the stake stays with you.

THE PHILOSOPHERS
Descartes, Nietzsche, Socrates, Plato, Confucius and Bacon sit across from you. Each one tougher than the last, each with a line adapted for the board. "Stare long into the dice, and the dice stare back at you."

WITH FRIENDS
Take turns on one phone, or create a room and send the code to a friend. You do not need to be on the same network.

BACKGAMMON TALK
When you roll double sixes, when your opponent leaves a blot, when you are waiting to enter — the game suggests what a backgammon player would say. Turn it off in settings if you would rather not.

YOUR DICE
Ten dice designs: walnut, obsidian, ruby, sapphire, emerald, ice, flame, Ottoman, cosmic, prestige. Drag with your finger and throw — the dice really bounce.

SOMETHING EVERY DAY
Daily gift, missions, invite rewards. Invite a friend and you both earn 25,000 gold.

LEADERBOARD
World ranking and country league, kept separate. See where you stand at home, or look up any other country.

LANGUAGES
Full Turkish and English. Other languages open the interface in English.

Gold in this game is virtual. It is not real money, cannot be exchanged for money, and is not refundable. Şeşbeş is not a gambling game; stakes are played only with in-game gold and have no monetary value.

• Fixed: with battery saver on, the dice did not fly and the checkers did not slide — all animations now run correctly.
• The bot picks up the dice and thinks before playing, so its moves are easier to follow.
