## Detailed Description
"Walking with Confucius" is an offline-focused classic reading app designed to allow you to quietly read, listen to, and record the Analects.
Even without an internet connection, you can view the original text of the Analects, Korean pronunciation, Korean translation, Korean meaning, and English meaning simultaneously. Through audio readings of the meaning of each passage, you can reinforce the content not only with your eyes but also with your ears.
The app does not require a login or registration. User settings such as bookmarks, reading history, font size, and default reading language are all stored only on your device.
Key features are as follows:
Viewing the Original Text and Interpretation of the Analects
You can read passages of the Analects chapter by chapter, from the "Learning" chapter to the "Words of the Lord." Each passage consists of the original Chinese text, Korean pronunciation, Korean translation, Korean meaning, and English meaning.
Reading of Meaning by Passage
You can listen to the meaning of each passage in Korean or English. Continuous playback is supported, so when one passage ends, it seamlessly transitions to the next.
Highlight Current Passage
The passage currently being read is highlighted on the screen, making it easy to see where you are currently listening. The auto-scroll feature allows you to follow the playback position as you read.
Bookmarks
You can save favorite passages or those you want to revisit as bookmarks. Saved passages can be quickly reopened from the bookmarks screen.
Record My Meaning
You can record your own thoughts and impressions of today's passage by date. You can record them like short notes and look back on them later to track your thought process.
Adjust Font Size
You can select your desired font size from Small, Medium, Large, and Very Large to create a comfortable reading environment.
"Walking with Confucius" is not simply an app that displays the Analects; it is designed to help you connect the sentences of the classics to your own life by reading, listening to, and recording one passage a day.
Try reading a passage from the Analects slowly during your commute, before falling asleep, or whenever you wish to quietly organize your thoughts.
