About this app

Seyethe Notes is a distraction-free, 100% offline notepad engineered for everyday lists like groceries, daily checklists, personal thoughts, task planning.

No subscriptions. No ads. No telemetry. No network needed. No user accounts. Your notes and lists are stored exclusively on your device with instant automatic saving and zero third-party/cloud dependencies.

EVERYDAY NOTES & CHECKLISTS:
• Interactive Checklists: Tap checkboxes directly on the screen to check off groceries and tasks. Continuous list typing automatically prepends a new checkbox on Enter, while smart backspacing removes markers cleanly.
• Block Checklist Conversion: Select one or more lines to convert the entire block into a checklist with a single tap.
• Template List Reordering: Easily reorder shopping and errand lists against custom store-layout templates that you yourself create so that you can navigate physical store aisles efficiently.
• Dynamic Sort Modes: Organize your dashboard how YOU like it (recent, alphabetical, color, manual).
• Color Tags & Pinning: Color-code notes with 6 distinct palette stripe tags with optional pinning to the top with gold pin badges.
• In-Note Keyword Search: Quickly search within any note with live match counters (e.g. 1/2), next/prev navigation, and gentle highlight fade effects upon closing.
• Full-Archive Search: Instant search bar filters both titles and body text across your entire notes collection in real time.
• Typography Scaling & Bedside Dark Theme: Adjust font size dynamically (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large) and switch instantly between crisp Light Mode and OLED-friendly Dark Mode. (We LOVE the dark mode by the way!!!)
• Live Word & Character Counter: Subtle document metrics pill in the bottom right corner updates live as you type and select text.

100% LOCAL PREDICTIVE AI:
• On-Device Autocomplete: Includes our lightweight, incredibly efficient and completely LOCAL AI prediction engine, trained exclusively on the content in YOUR own local notes and absolutely nothing else.
• Multi-Word Phrase Suggestions: Suggests as you type. Accept suggestions with one-tap.
• Smart Casing Matcher: Automatically mirrors your typing style across lowercase, capitalized, and uppercase words.
• Works Alongside System Keyboards: Complements your device's native predictive virtual keyboard. You can accept suggestions from either at any time, seamlessly.

DATA OWNERSHIP & PRIVACY:
• Multi-Tier Session Undo: comprehensive undo stack while editing plus an independent List View Undo Stack to recover deleted notes, pin states, and reordered lists.
• Optional Master Lock: Protect sensitive notes and lists behind an on-device numeric PIN with auto-lock on app minimize.
• YOUR Data on YOUR Device: Export individual notes LOCALLY on your device as standard .txt files or package your entire collection into an open, uncompressed .zip backup archive anytime. You can then decide if that data goes anywhere else, since it is just a file exported on YOUR device.
• One-Tap Local Import: Seamlessly import .txt notes or restore uncompressed .zip backup archives via your device's native file picker.
