The app will heat the mug, but won't keep it hot. It rapidly cools when not actively being heated. Not sure what the problem is, if the app closes once you go to something else on your phone, or what, but this product doesn't work. You basically save yourself the effort of getting up and microwaving it yourself, by microwaving it with your app. No good. Not as smart as it should be.

The mug stops heating shortly after starting it through the app. The battery on the mug doesn't last long either. I would recommend buying an Ember if you want something quality. This is cheap. I got it for 50 on sale from 100. 50 was too much...it's more of a pain than it's worth since I have to constantly check that the heat is still on. The app has to have Bluetooth on BEFORE you open. Otherwise, it won't connect to the mug.

I'd rather not have to press the play button several times to achieve my set temperature, but yet I do and it's a deal breaker! This flaw just makes the whole concept useless as I've better things to do! ... Terrible app/bluetooth connectivty.
