About this app

This app provides resources to support your daily practice of SGI Nichiren Buddhism. First, there is a chanting calculator that allows you to set and track chanting targets (campaigns). There is also an audio guide useful as an aid in learning the daily recitation of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo and the Lotus Sutra. You can set your goals and watch your progress! There are several other useful tools such as a location finder for SGI-USA facilities and links to the new World Tribune website.

It appears that the SGI doesn't care about its members. There has been no attempt to fix this problem. Terrible experience!! I wanted to chant with the app but it wouldn't play. This is not an app that is easy to navigate. I miss the days when the SGI actually cared about its members insteadof acting like a cult. Too much pressure about giving $$ instead of member care. Disgraceful!!

First, thanks so much for responding to my 5/23/19 review and fix the crashing bug! So fast! I really appreciate this app, it offers great support to my practice and inspires me to chant more. A great improvement would be being able to keep the daily daimoku count accumulating. It used to work that way but now it goes back to zero when I stop the counting clock--even if I don't close the app, just leave it idle in the background. Thanks again! 5/23 review: I love this app, but since 5/22 it keeps crashing more than before the 5/21 update. It crashes when I stop the daimoku count. it crashes when I push the settings button, it crashes if I try to go to the ID section, it crashes if I try to see the daily or accumulated chant count. Help please! from a Samsung Galaxy S9, latest Android update installed, all the rest working well. thanks!

When I took a photo on my phone and uploaded it to the ID a whirly gig kept going with a counting up figure. I removed the app because there is no way to go back and try again or really to get out of the app, and then re-installed the app. When I installed the app again and logged in to take another photo, the old one came up with the same whirly gig and counting. I don't have unlimited data and have to un-install the app again.
