About this game

Step into the whimsical world of Pecking Shadows, where a night-time chicken hunter with a bow greets you in a flower-filled meadow and invites you to test your reflexes in an engaging game. Your task is simple: tap the appearing objects as quickly as possible before they vanish. Objects emerge at random positions and stay on screen for only 0.5 to 2 seconds. Every successful tap adds +1 point to your score.

Each round lasts 45 seconds, and at the end, your total score is displayed. Scores are recorded in the high-score list only if you complete the round, either winning or losing. Pausing the game, closing the app, or leaving the round prematurely will not save your score.

Pecking Shadows automatically pauses if you switch to another app or temporarily leave the game, opening a pause window. Returning to the game requires closing the pause window to continue playing.
