ShareOrBackup lets phones, PCs, NAS drives and USB drives on the same Wi-Fi exchange files directly and back up your photos and documents automatically. Your data never goes to an external cloud, so there are no monthly fees. Photos are saved to your destination automatically once you are home and on Wi-Fi - no need to open the app.

- Files are moved to .trash/versions before any delete or overwrite
- Mass deletions are detected and confirmed first (delete guard)
- Trashed files can be restored from the app for 7 days
- Transfers stay inside your home network and never pass through an external cloud

Q. Is my data sent to the cloud?
A. No. Transfers go directly between devices, NAS drives and PCs on the same network.
Q. Does sync stop when I close the app?
A. No. It keeps running in the background and resumes automatically after a Wi-Fi reconnect or a reboot.
Q. Can I recover deleted files?
A. Files are moved to .trash/versions before a delete or overwrite and can be restored for 7 days.
Q. What do I need for a NAS?
A. Just enable file sharing (SMB) on the NAS. If it is on the same Wi-Fi it is discovered automatically, so you pick it from the list. No extra software is required.
Q. Can I sync folders between a PC and my phone?
A. Yes. Folder sync works in both directions, so editing on either side keeps them identical.
Q. Can I use it outside my home?
A. It is designed for use on the same network. Reaching home storage from outside needs a VPN or a similar setup.
Q. Can I use it for free?
A. Yes. Automatic backup and folder sync work in the free version (up to 2 links, app-to-app and SMB).
