MOBY MOVE: Public Bike Sharing Ireland: Sign up and register with your mobile number. Select the city / town in where you want to ride and add your payment method. You will find the nearest available bike on the map. The home screen also includes your personal trip counter and ride information. Rent a vehicle by scanning the QR code on the lock. Rent from and return the bike to, and lock only at a public bike stand.

Not worth the hassle! When they work its great but when we tried to find two bikes, one always had an issue so the other person had to waste their minutes looking for other bikes. Issues parking. Tried to buy a week pass and was credited with 15euro instead which was equivalent of two rides. I would try another company.

Unreliable. Quite often bikes shown on the map are out of service or are simply ghost bikes, never there. One time there were eight bikes in my area (half of them showing active on the map) which were out of service.

The service is terrible and unreliable; the bikes appear as available on the app, but when you unlock them, you realise they don’t work; they overcharge; the app is slow to complete the transaction and you end up paying for the app’s slowness. It’s all designed to make you spend money without actually getting anywhere.
