Share Z sends files between phones, or from a phone to a computer, on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
Both phones need Share Z. On a computer, open the address or scan the QR code in any browser.
There is no computer app to install.
How to send
1. Tap Receive on one phone, and Send files on the other.
2. Nearby phones appear with the name and picture you chose.
3. Tap who should get the files, then pick the files.
4. Both sides confirm before anything is transferred.
5. Received files are saved to Downloads/Share Z, or to a folder you choose.
A normal Wi-Fi network is enough. If there is no Wi-Fi, the phone can open a hotspot.
Join it, then start the transfer. The files move on that local connection, so the transfer itself does not need internet.
Turn on a share code when you want only someone who can see your screen to join.
Nearby people see your name and cartoon picture. The code stays on your phone.
Share Z has no account and no sign-in. Your files are not uploaded to a cloud.
A history of file names stays on the phone, and you can clear it.
You can also hand Share Z a file from another app with the Android share menu.
You can leave the screen while a transfer runs. Android keeps it going and shows a notification until you tap Stop.
Send files to a nearby phone or a computer browser. No account and no cloud.
