About this app
SharpEdge publishes a small number of football betting tips each day, sourced from tipsters whose records we measure ourselves.
WHY WE MEASURE THEM OURSELVES
Tipster platforms show self-reported figures. Picks get deleted after they lose, stakes go unstated, screenshots show the winners. The numbers that result are, politely, optimistic.
So we do it differently. Every pick from every tipster we follow is recorded the moment it is posted, before anyone knows how it turns out. Nothing can be removed afterwards, because the record is not theirs — it is ours. Results come from the tipster where they publish them, and from an independent results feed where they do not, which is what stops a channel posting its winners promptly and its losers never.
We track far more than we publish. A tipster only appears in the app after their record, on our measurement, holds up over a meaningful number of settled bets.
WHAT YOU GET
• Two or three tips a day, released at set times
• Combination bets posted by the tipsters themselves, when they clear our bar
• Every settled bet, wins and losses alike, with nothing hidden
• Yield, strike rate and average odds — for the app and for each tipster
• A personal tracker: record what you actually staked and see your own return
• Decimal, fractional or American odds, whichever you read
NEVER TWO BETS ON ONE MATCH
If one tipster calls a match, nobody else's bet on that match is published the same day. No contradictory tips, no accidental doubling up.
LEARN
Six modules on how betting actually works: reading odds, the bookmaker's margin, Asian handicaps and the quarter lines that split your stake, bankroll and staking, and why yield tells you something that strike rate does not. Free, offline, and written to be useful rather than to fill space.
HONESTLY
This is an information and entertainment app. Nothing in it is financial advice, no outcome is guaranteed, and past results are not a prediction of future ones. Betting carries a risk of losing money.
18+ only. Please gamble responsibly.
