• Can only be used on a mobile phone registered under your name.

• Available on Android OS version 7.0 or higher.

• We recommend updating to the latest version for secure financial transactions.

• Cannot be used on phones that have been arbitrarily modified (such as rooted or jailbroken phones) or unverified by Google.

• Cannot be used if the app has been reinstalled via a Google account backup upon changing devices. Please download and install the app again from the Google Play Store to use it.

• Data charges may apply depending on your subscribed plan when downloading the app and using the service.

• Offline payments are available only when connected to a mobile carrier network (5G/LTE/3G, etc.).

• When connected to Wi-Fi, only online payments (PC/mobile payments) are available.

When using the mobile transportation card service, the Shinhan SOL Pay app collects the user's phone number and transmits it to an external server for carrier verification, identity identification, and the issuance and use of the transportation card.

This information is transmitted to the servers of T-money Co., Ltd. and carriers SKT, KT, and LGU+ to provide transportation card services, and carrier SDKs (such as SKP_SKT SDK) are used in this process.

[Geofencing Service Guide]

- To provide instant notifications regarding benefits, discount coupons, and events from nearby stores based on the user's current location, we collect user location data even when the app is closed or not in use. This data is also used to support advertisements.

Ratings and reviews

It doesn't let me set up the account. I always get the notification "if you're a foreigner you need to have a Shinhan Bank account". I do but, I can't select anything and just get stucked on the same position. The man at the information at the Bank also can't help me. Also there are so many options and it feels impossible to find any English information.

Shinhan Paypan worked well for me, but when I went to pay for something today, clicking on the button to pay lead me to the Google Play Store for the app, but clicking "open" only opened the Play app, but didn't allow me to pay. So can we no longer use this app to pay for online and app purchases??

I would give zero stars if I could. I applied for a card, and for 10 days they never picked up the phone, always saying they were busy. There’s no way to check the status of my debit card application either. Definitely not recommended go with another card company instead.
