AI Description
The chess AI we developed for this app uses the minimax algorithm with alpha-beta pruning to calculate which moves to make. There are six difficulty levels in the app, each level corresponding to the depth of the search used in the minimax algorithm. The highest difficulty is 6, which corresponds to 3 full chess moves.

Ratings and reviews

Great app ! I play it with my kids, we like it very much, thank you. Would it be possible to add an option to rotate the pieces icons for each turn or per colors, when playing 2 players ? (So it is easier to play with each player holding one side of the phone). Also, there seems to sometimes be a bug with checkmate and stalemate (I had a stalemate while the king was checked, so it should have been a checkmate if I understood correctly).

if you turn off and on your screen or answer a text you lose the game progress and it starts over

The app is good for practicing and playing with friends, however, when playing two players, it's difficult for players with black pieces to understand what they are playing, when playing with someone, you might not notice but when practicing alone with two players, it's difficult to play as black. To prevent this, you need to invert the white pieces so that players with black pieces can fell more comfortable when looking at white's pieces. I sincerely hope you make an amendment to it.
