it's super handy to have a chess app that you can play offline or local two player and i like the cosmetic customization too. definitely my top pick of virtual chessboard

Great app ! I play it with my kids, we like it very much, thank you. Would it be possible to add an option to rotate the pieces icons for each turn or per colors, when playing 2 players ? (So it is easier to play with each player holding one side of the phone). Also, there seems to sometimes be a bug with checkmate and stalemate (I had a stalemate while the king was checked, so it should have been a checkmate if I understood correctly).

I regret trying this out. I had a good game going, just pulled my notifications panel down to check some messages and maybe briefly switched apps for less than 15 seconds total. When I came back the game had completely reset back to the starting position without explanation. Has never happened with any other app. Frustrating!
