Based on the official China's HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) examination and covering all of the nearly 5,000 Chinese characters from HSK level 1 to level 6, HSK Locker is a free, intelligent quiz and flash card app designed to progressively build up your Chinese vocabulary at your own pace.

The app starts with only characters from HSK level 1 whether for flashcard or quiz. As the user gain familiarity of the existing characters, the app will adjust the word list to gradually include characters from subsequent HSK levels, i.e. one by one, from level 2 to level 6. The learning/relearning of new words are relayed and supported via informative flashcards depending on the user's preference.

Word recognition is reinforced through repeated exposure and testing, increasing or decreasing access depending on the outcome of the quiz for each of the individual characters.

Over time, the Chinese individual characters correctly answered successively four times and will be stored away in the 'Locker', thus giving way to new characters to arise, aiding digestion.

HSK Locker is suitable for both beginners and advance enthusiast alike, acting like a personal trainer that remembers your familiarity and understanding of each and every word in the HSK syllables, and word by word, step by step, help you make your way through the nearly 5,000 characters at your own pace.

Great app for practice. I just have one request. During a quiz, when you don't know the word and open the definition, please make it go back a level instead of skipping the question. Just to clarify, I'd like the word pushed back a level away from the locker every time they opt to check the definition.

Great app. If you could add an option so that when we look up a word it doesn't skip but rather increase the depth, it would be perfect! There're ads but they're "well shown". Not too much and doesn't decrease the UX.

Unfortunately with disturbing ads! And results cannot be transferred between different phones. I have to start anew on the tablet, which is very annoying! What is more, translations are sometimes a bit strange. not consistent with e.g. Hanping. or Pleco.

Random interstitial ads no longer showing in the quiz pages.
Interstitial ads only display once upon completion of the quiz session.
