About this app

Online doctor consultation in Pakistan. ShifaNext connects you with PMDC-verified doctors on a private call or in chat, without leaving home. Book an appointment at a time that suits you, or call a doctor who is online right now.

Every doctor's PMDC registration and documents are checked, and every doctor is interviewed before they can see patients. After your consultation you get an e-prescription as a PDF on your doctor's letterhead, with their PMDC number.

CONSULT A DOCTOR ONLINE

• Find a doctor by specialty, qualification, experience and fee before you book.
• Book a doctor appointment for later, or start an instant call with a doctor who is online now.
• Talk to your doctor on a private call. Turn your camera on so the doctor can see you, or keep it off. You can also message in chat, with photos and voice notes.
• Telemedicine made simple: see a doctor online from anywhere in Pakistan.

E-PRESCRIPTIONS

• Get your online prescription as a PDF you can save, print or take to any pharmacy.
• Diagnosis, medicines, dosage, follow-up dates and referrals, all in one document.
• Your prescriptions and receipts stay in the app, so your medical record is always to hand.

TRACK YOUR HEALTH

• Keep a symptom diary with severity, duration and a body map, and add up to three photos.
• Record vitals: blood pressure, blood sugar, temperature, weight and more.
• Share your recent symptoms with your doctor when you book, so the consultation starts informed.
• If something you log may need urgent attention, the app tells you immediately and offers a one-tap call to emergency services.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

• Pay securely through established payment gateways. Your card details are handled by the payment provider and never stored by us.
• Cancel any time before your consultation begins for a full refund.
• If your doctor does not attend, you are refunded automatically. You do not need to ask.

FOR DOCTORS

• Practise online: set your own consultation fee, specialties and working hours.
• Manage your calendar, patients and consultation history in one place.
• Track your earnings and receive payouts to your bank account.
• Join by completing verification of your PMDC registration and credentials, and a short interview.

PRIVACY AND YOUR DATA

• The audio of your consultation is recorded so there is a record of what was said. Video is never recorded. Recordings are not transcribed or analysed, and they are permanently deleted after a limited period.
• Access is restricted to you, your doctor, and staff reviewing a complaint or safety concern.
• You can delete symptom entries at any time, and close your account from within the app.

• ShifaNext is a communication platform that connects patients with independent, licensed practitioners. We are not a healthcare provider, and the app is not a diagnostic tool.
• The doctor you consult is responsible for their own clinical advice, diagnosis and any prescription they issue.
• ShifaNext is not for medical emergencies. If you are facing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
• You must be 18 or over to create an account. Minors may use the service only under the supervision of a consenting parent or legal guardian.
