About this app

Organize your work shifts in a clear calendar with Shift Planner. Keep a separate roster for each workplace and choose shift-count or hour-based tracking. Made for nurses and other shift workers, with shift types and details you can customize.

Your calendar and shift details
• Add morning, Long, Night or 24-hour shifts, or create a custom type.
• Set the start time, duration and break. Choose the name, symbol, color, calendar label and notes.
• Add a 12-hour Night shift on the selected day and a 12-hour Long shift on the following day in one step. They are saved as two separate shifts totaling 24 hours, and each can be edited later.
• Build a repeating schedule from a weekly pattern or shift cycle, with a preview before applying it.

Shift counts or work hours
• Choose your calculation mode during first setup and adjust each roster's settings later.
• See your target, recorded total, remaining balance and shift-type breakdown for the same period.
• Start your roster cycle on the first of the month or another day that fits your schedule.
• Keep multiple workplace rosters with independent settings and a clearly shown active roster.
• Convert hours into shifts or shifts into hours, and estimate earnings using your own shift rates.

Hours mode and holidays
Hours mode is intended for Hospital 57 and workplaces that follow the same rules. Check your period, target and leave policy with your employer; this system is not assumed to fit every hospital or country.

Confirm the date of an Egyptian holiday shown in the app manually for each roster: keep its original date, choose the suggested Thursday or select another date. Holidays are not all moved to Thursdays automatically, and changing a holiday date does not move your saved shifts. In hours mode, work hours on the selected holiday do not count toward the hours target; recorded shift hours, shift count and earnings stay saved. Future holiday estimates need checking. The app is not a source of official holiday announcements.

Share, save and stay prepared
• Share your roster as a PNG image or PDF, with a schedule summary and details.
• Save and restore a local backup.
• Use optional shift reminders and Android home-screen widgets for your next shift and next seven days.
• Use Arabic, English or German, with light and dark themes.

No account or cloud synchronization is required. Your roster is saved on your device, and you choose when to export or share a file.

Calculations are estimates based on your entries, settings and workplace policy. Shift Planner is an independent app and is not affiliated with Hospital 57 or any employer.
