About this app

Shift Terminal brings scheduling, a time clock and team messaging together for businesses with hourly or shift-based staff, such as restaurants, retail, healthcare, offices and the trades. Your employer sets up your account and sends you an invitation to join.

For managers
• Build and publish the schedule in week, two-week or month view, with open shifts and templates
• Approve time off, shift swaps, drops and open shift pickups
• Get alerts for missed clock-ins and see late punches in Attendance
• Review timesheets with your break and overtime rules applied
• Turn a shared tablet into a time clock with employee PINs and an optional photo at each punch
• See hours, attendance and labour cost in reports

For employees
• See your next shift and get a reminder before it starts
• Clock in and out from your phone at the job site
• Swap or drop a shift, pick up open shifts and request time off
• Chat with your team in WorkChat channels and direct messages, with Report and Block
• Get push notifications for new shifts, changes and approvals

Available in English and French.

The app reads your location only when you clock in or out, during location checks your employer turns on while you are clocked in with the app open, and when a manager places a job site on the map. Never in the background.
