Card shows move fast. There are hundreds of tables, thousands of cards, and about thirty seconds before the person behind you grabs that Charizard you've been after for six months.
ShinyFindr was built for exactly that moment.
It started as a personal problem. Juggling multiple apps and switching between them for different bits of information at a card show is no way to hunt. So this app was built to fix that, one show at a time.
Built around show day:
Before you walk in, build your hunt list. Flag the exact cards you're after, set your max price for each one, and ShinyFindr brings it all together in one place.
When you have a show coming up, flagging cards straight from your collection to your hunt list takes seconds. Everything you still need, ready to go before you walk in the door. Starting a new show? Carry unfinished cards forward from your last event so nothing that slipped through last time gets forgotten.
At the table, swipe to catch a card, log what you paid, and get instant feedback on whether you came in under or over your max. Your running budget updates as you go so you always know how much you have left to spend.
No fumbling through binders. No forgetting your list. No buying cards you already own.
When you find something unexpected, the random catch feature logs it on the spot so nothing slips through.
Show day tools built for the table:
Prep for Show mode lets you set all your max prices before you walk in. Dial in a percentage of market value and every card on your list is priced in one action - no tapping through each one individually.
The offer calculator is something you won't find anywhere else. Select any number of cards, pick a discount, and ShinyFindr splits the total proportionally across each one. You walk away knowing exactly what you paid per card.
Export your full hunt list as an image or PDF before the show - shareable, printable, or just there as a backup if your phone dies at the wrong moment.
The collection side keeps it honest:
Tracking your sets and singles is straightforward. Browse sets, mark what you own, and your hunt list reflects exactly what's still missing going into show day. There's also a permanent want list for singles you're hunting across multiple shows - flag priority cards and it feeds straight into show prep when the time comes. Build custom portfolios around any theme - a favourite Pokemon, a specific era, cards you're actively chasing - and track their live value as your collection grows.

Market prices pulled in per card so you know what something is actually worth before you agree to a number. Tap through to a price history chart for any card and see how the market has trended over time. Prices display in your local currency. NZD, USD, AUD, and GBP supported, with automatic refresh when you switch. Compact list mode for faster scanning when you're moving quickly between tables. Full event history so you can look back at every show, every catch, and every dollar spent. Export a data backup any time and restore it if you switch phones.
