Sidereal helps astronomers, telescope users, and night-sky observers track Local Sidereal Time quickly and reliably.

Use Sidereal to view the current local sidereal time, calculate sidereal time manually from longitude, search locations, and plan ahead with future sidereal time tools. You can also create scheduled alerts so you never miss an important observing window.

Ratings and reviews

I paid for the upgrade to the Pro Version and it went through. Upon re-opening the App a few days later, I no longer had the Pro Version and was asked if I wanted to upgrade to it. I emailed the App creator and have not received a response, an explanation nor a rectification of the problem. Disappointed!

Disappointed that the app will only work if I disable my VPN and enable my GPS; that manually entered locations can't be saved; that the price I paid in sterling was virtually the same as the dollar price and thus I feel does not represent good value as once you've established LST at a given location it is relatively easy to keep track of it without the need for a calendar or notifications.

I wish you were able to add more than one alert that is a set, either default 5min or is customizable up to 30 minutes at least, but follows the same backward running clock for every day, and then another that goes off directly as LST
