About this app

Should I Fish? answers one question for saltwater anglers on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts from Virginia to Florida: is it a good time to fish right now?

Every hour gets a fishability score from 0 to 100, built from tide movement, solunar periods, barometric pressure trend, light, and wind. You get a verdict (GO, MAYBE, SKIP), the best bite window of the day, and a tide curve colored by how good the fishing should be, with a NOW marker so you always know where you stand.

WHAT'S FREE
• Today plus the next 3 days for one location
• Live score, verdict, and bite window
• Tide chart, high and low tide times, next tide
• Solunar and moon almanac, sunrise and sunset
• Wind, temperature, rain chance
• Catch log tied to the score, tide, and pressure at that moment
• Home-screen widget with your current score
• Rough-conditions warning when wind makes the water unsafe

PRO (in-app purchase)
• The full 7-day forecast
• Up to 8 saved spots
• Save the days you plan to fish and get reminders before the bite
• Pattern insights from your catch log

Passes are one-time purchases (3 days or 30 days). The Year plan is an annual subscription that renews until you cancel it in Google Play.

DATA
Tide predictions come from NOAA CO-OPS. Weather comes from Open-Meteo. Sun and moon positions are computed on your phone. Town tide times are estimated offsets from the nearest NOAA station. Coverage runs from the Chesapeake Bay to the Florida Keys and the Gulf coast; the app tells you if you're outside it.

PRIVACY
No account, no sign-up. Your location is used on your phone to find the nearest covered town and is never sent to us. Saved spots, saved days, and your catch log stay on your device. Full policy: https://www.shouldifish.app/privacy

The score is a model, not a promise. Check official marine forecasts before you launch.
