Shramik is a digital job marketplace designed to bridge the gap between recruiters and skilled job seekers, with a special focus on non-degree holders, ITI candidates, and diploma professionals. The platform simplifies the hiring process by enabling recruiters to post job opportunities and connect with suitable candidates, while allowing job seekers to discover and apply for relevant jobs in a simple and transparent manner.

The app supports role-based access for Job Seekers and Recruiters, each with dedicated features tailored to their needs. Users can securely register and log in using OTP-based authentication, ensuring safety and authenticity across the platform.

Job seekers can create their profiles by providing personal details, uploading required documents, selecting their specialization, and choosing relevant skill sets. Based on their specialization, they can browse available job listings and apply using a coin-based system. An applied jobs section allows them to track application status, while recruiter-initiated chat enables direct communication after shortlisting.

Recruiters can register by verifying their identity through Aadhaar document upload. Once verified, they can post detailed job openings, including job role, salary, qualifications, job type, and benefits. Recruiters can review applicants, shortlist suitable candidates, view candidate documents after shortlisting, and communicate directly through in-app chat. Recruiters are notified about job expiry and hiring status to manage postings effectively.

The platform uses a coin-based model for job applications and shortlisting, with secure in-app payments handled through Razorpay. All transactions are protected using industry-standard security practices.

Shramik is designed to be lightweight, easy to use, and accessible to a wide audience. The app supports multiple languages including Kannada, English, and Hindi, making it inclusive and user-friendly for diverse users. The system is built on scalable cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and data security.
