About this app

Stop wasting hours editing action sports footage. ShredCut automatically cuts your session video into individual clips — one per attempt — just record or import and let ShredCut do the cutting.

Works with skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, inline skating, scootering, surfing, and any action sport filmed as a continuous session.

RECORD OR IMPORT
Film your session directly in the app or import existing footage from Photos or Files. ShredCut detects the still moments between attempts and creates separate clips automatically.

HIGHLIGHT REEL
Create a highlight video from your best clips:
• Transitions: Fade Black, Flash White, Zoom
• Add music from your library with automatic BPM sync
• Export progress shown in real time

SESSION HISTORY
The app keeps a log of every processed session, grouped by day — see how many clips were extracted and how long ago each video was analyzed. If the original video is still on your device, you can jump back in and access your clips directly.

What’s new

• Split Clip – If a detected clip contains multiple attempts, you can now split it into two separate clips. Open a clip, drag the Split slider to the right point, and tap Split Clip.
• History export – Export all clips from a past session directly from History.
• Bug fixes: clip settings no longer reset when deleting a clip, label badges no longer expand the clip card, and tags are now always saved when closing the editor.
