About this app

Minimalist daydream screensaver with lots of customizations to show a beautiful battery meter while the device is charging. The elegant wave battery meter will increase as the battery charge percentage increases.

Customization options available in the app -

- Time display can be enabled/disabled as per the preference.
- Time format can be set between 12 or 24 hours format.
- Color and size of Time can be customized.
- Battery percentage can be enabled/disabled as per the preference.
- Color and size of the wave battery meter can be customized.
- Screen can be dimmed after the screen off timeout.

Premium features

- Hide navigation bar and status bar
- Randomize battery meter colors in elegant gradients (helps in preventing OLED burn-in)
- Move time and battery percentage text (helps in preventing OLED burn-in)

How to use the app?

- Click '+' button to open the floating menu.
- Click 'Daybream' (Cog/Settings) button to get into the device's screen saver settings (Daydream settings)
- Turn on Daydream feature (some handset manufacturers change the name of this feature to simply 'Screen saver')
- Choose 'Dreaming Battery' from the available screen savers
- Click 'When to start screen saver' and choose from the options as per your preference

Note - If you lock the screen using the Power Key, Daydream doesn't get activated. Daydream activates when you allow the screen to turn off automatically. This is standard Android behavior.

Oneplus Devices
If you are unable to see the wave battery meter increase with an increase in the battery charge, you'll have to disable the battery optimization for the application.

Go to Settings - Battery - Battery Optimization - Dreaming Battery. Select 'Don't Optimize' to get the correct calibration on the battery meter.

Huawei and Honor Devices
On some devices, Huawei and Honor doesn't allow custom screen savers. You'll have to do some tweaking to be able to set a custom screen saver. You can follow the guide on XDA Developers.

Want more customization options?

Rate and share your experience and feedback in the comments and I'll try to incorporate those features in the app.

If you liked the app, please consider buying the Premium version. Cheers!

Fantastic screensaver that does exactly what I needed in an attractive manner. Well worth supporting with $1. UPDATE: I've noticed a bit of screen burn from the rectangle from this app. This is even with dimming with the screen timeout on, and the color cycling available on the paid version, so I've stopped using it. I think what it needs is a smaller rectangle that moves around the screen to avoid the burn or to turn off entirely after some time. I have a Samsung Galaxy 21+.

My phone takes forever to finish charging when using this as the screensaver. Not sure what's going on, but I have had to switch to a different screensaver as a result. If you don't have that problem this is a nice app. However, I don't understand why the visual is just a plain rectangle instead of a battery. You would think a screensaver that works as a battery level indicator would be shaped like a battery. Even the app icon looks like a battery, so this seems a bit odd.

I've purchased Dreaming Battery - Premium a few days ago. All was working well, then suddenly I just received an email from Google Play that my order was cancelled and the purchase amount was refunded. Why?? I did not request any refund, certainly not days after. Premium features were in fact disabled in the app. All this is very odd and unwanted.

Hi, thank you for reporting the issue. Automatic refund was initiated by Google because I had missed a small piece of code in the app. I have pushed a new update to Play Store with a fix for this issue - v3.2. Kindly update the app to v3.2, and make the in-app purchase again. Apologies for the inconvenience. :)

What's new

v3.2

- NEW - Add toggle to show battery percentage inside battery meter
- FIX - Keep battery percentage and time above battery meter when they are overlapping
