About this app

ScanMaster turns your phone into a fast, private document scanner. Capture crisp PDFs, find any page by the words inside it, and finish the job — sign, stamp, redact, compress and share — without your files ever leaving your device.

Built on Google ML Kit, the scanner detects edges, removes shadows and straightens pages automatically, so every scan looks clean.

What you can do

• Scan to PDF — automatic edge detection, multi-page capture, or import from your gallery. Pages are saved as high-quality images and a ready-to-share PDF.

• Search inside your documents — on-device OCR reads the text on every page, so you can find a receipt or contract by typing a word it contains.

• Organize your library — list or gallery view, filter by category, sort by date, name or page count, and pin the documents you reach for most.

• Every tool, on every file — open the actions menu on any document to export to Word (.docx), extract recognized text (.txt), save pages as images, compress the PDF, combine pages, reorder, redact or stamp.

• Watermark and sign — apply a text watermark or your hand-drawn signature to all pages or just the ones you choose.

• Redact sensitive information — black out anything private before you share.

• ID card mode — capture both sides and stitch them onto a single page.

• Secure vault — move private documents behind your fingerprint or face unlock.

• Privacy mode — mask titles and thumbnails when you hand someone your phone.

• Trash with undo — deletions go to the trash first, with an undo prompt, so nothing disappears by accident.

• Choose your base color — teal, blue, indigo, violet, emerald, amber or rose — or match your wallpaper with Material You on Android 12 and up.
• Home-screen shortcuts for quick scan, ID card and vault.

Private by design

ScanMaster works entirely on your device. There is no account to create, no cloud upload, and text recognition runs locally. Your documents stay yours.
